Life after the atomic bomb: Stories from a Hiroshima survivor

On October 16th, the APU Peace Marketing Group held an event featuring a testimony of the A-bomb and reconstruction of Hiroshima from one of its few remaining survivors. APU faculty, staff, students and Beppu citizens came to listen and discuss how to achieve sustainable world peace. The Peace Marketing Group provides lectures and workshops on peace studies outside of classes to all APU members (students, faculty, and staff) in the hopes of working together toward the APU vision of freedom, peace and humanity. On July 6 and 7, 2019, students from Ritsumeikan Asia Pacific University (APU) jointly participated in a workshop sponsored by Seven Bank to study design conceptualization with students from Ritsumeikan University.
